Special attention should be paid to the operation of concrete mixers

Concrete mixers belong to the category of construction machinery and are widely used in the country's civil construction industry. We hereby remind all users to pay special attention to the following matters when working with concrete mixers.

1. After the concrete mixer is started, it should be carried out step by step, and it should not be adjusted to the rated speed all at once. After the mixer is started, it should run at low speed first, and then adjust to the rated speed when the standby temperature rises, and then gradually increase the load. However, it is also not advisable to run the mixer at low speed for a long time. After the mixing drum reaches the normal speed, the material should be loaded, and the water should be added in time after the material is loaded.

2. When feeding, it is strictly forbidden to put your head or hand between the hopper and the frame to observe or feel the feeding situation. During operation, it is not allowed to put your hands or tools into the mixing drum to pick up and discharge the material.

3. After the upper hopper is lifted, no one can pass or stay under the hopper to avoid accidents caused by brake failure. If it is necessary to overhaul or clean up under the hopper, stop the machine forcibly and fasten the upper hopper with a safety chain.

4. Feeding into the mixing drum should be carried out during operation. The addition of new materials must be carried out after all the original concrete in the mixer is unloaded. Do not stop the mixer halfway or start the mixer at full load, except for the reverse discharge.

5. If an accident or failure occurs during the operation and the operation cannot be continued, the power supply should be cut off immediately, the concrete in the cylinder should be cleaned up, and then repaired.

6. Overload work is prohibited. Any equipment must operate within its load range, and concrete mixers are no exception. During operation, the internal combustion engine must be loaded according to the specified power range, and the continuous operation time of the mixer under the rated power should generally not exceed 12h/d.
