The Difference Between Single Shaft And Double Horizontal Shaft Of Concrete Mixer

Jun 22, 2022

The barrel of the mandatory concrete mixer is equipped with two-axis rotating blades in opposite directions. The blades twist the material along the radial and axial circulation system at a certain angle, so that the material can be mixed quickly and evenly. The characteristics of the horizontal mixer are driven by the reducer. The rotation speed of the shaft and the structure of the paddle will weaken the material force. With the lack of the force, each material has different particle sizes and proportions in the whole process of mixing. Vigorous stirring motion reduces the time of one mixing, faster and more efficient. Even if the materials are different in proportion and particle size, they can achieve a good mixing effect under the rapid and strong tumbling and throwing of the overlapping stirring blades. The mixing uniformity is high, the residual amount is small, and it is suitable for mixing two or more additives.

The concrete mixer enables the materials to be sufficiently mixed, thereby enhancing the uniformity of mixing; the innovative motor rotor structure is used, and the small gap between the motor rotor and the bright body can be adjusted to be close to zero, which reasonably reduces the residual content of the material; it can be compared Larger materials are crushed, the overall structure is more effective, the appearance design is beautiful and generous, and the actual operation, maintenance and installation are convenient.

The difference between single and twin shafts of mandatory concrete mixers

①Twin shaft concrete mixer

The whole mixing process of the twin-shaft mixer not only occurs in the axial direction, but also occurs in the centerline direction. The main mixing area is located at the center of the mixing body. During the whole mixing process, the force value along this direction is maximized, so the space in the mixing chamber can be flexibly used, and the speed of stone, cement and water on the mixing blade circle is low. (1.4 ~ 1.6m/s) to achieve the best stirring method in a short period of time, and obtain the best actual stirring effect.

Because most of the concrete is stacked around the discharge door when the twin-shaft mixer is mixing, the discharge time is short. The discharge door operated by the electrical device can adjust the opening degree, and the discharge door should not be stuck when it is closed. During the whole process of unloading, the blades rotate at a low speed, which is beneficial to eliminate the residual concrete in the mixing tank, and can effectively prevent the falling objects when the disc machine is unloading.

②Single-shaft concrete mixer

The mixing principle of the single-shaft mixer and the self-falling mixer is almost similar. The rotating effect of the mixing shaft (blade) is to lift the concrete to a certain height-to-width ratio, and then make it fall at will to carry out the whole process of mixing. Therefore, when the single-shaft mixer is used, the capacity in reasonable operation is smaller than that of the basic theoretical design scheme, and the relative height of the server is much larger than that of the twin-shaft mixer. When manufacturing roller compacted concrete, the specific productivity of the single-shaft mixer is higher than the rated capacity. Value productivity is low.

Due to the limitation of the system structure, it is difficult to adjust the opening specifications of the discharge door, which will cause great harm to the discharge of different preparations of concrete. In the state of emergency shutdown, problems are more likely to occur, and the sealing performance of the discharge door is poor.
