Reasons for the short service life of the clutch of the integrated mixing machine

Dec 12, 2023

The clutch consists of a moving plate assembly, a clutch gland and cover assembly, a release bearing, and a flywheel. The service life of a general vehicle clutch is about 60,000 kilometers. Most of the integrated mixing machines are manual transmission. Manual transmission vehicles use a lot of clutches. The short life of the clutch of the integrated mixing machine is affected by several aspects:

1. If you depress the clutch for a long time or hold it down for a long time, the clutch will always be in working condition. Such long-term operation can easily cause the clutch to overheat and wear excessively.

2. Long-term semi-linkage, which means that the clutch is always depressed, half depressed, and half released while the vehicle is driving. This is semi-linked, also called half-clutch. This will seriously shorten the life of the release bearing. The life of the brake pads will also be shortened, and ultimately the life of the clutch will be shortened.

3. The starting accelerator is too large. For manual transmission, some people like to step on the accelerator hard when starting (one end of the clutch is connected to the engine, and the other end is connected to the gearbox and wheels). If the accelerator is too large, the engine speed will increase immediately. , when the clutch is just connected, the speed difference between the two ends is very big. The engine on one end is already turning very fast, and the engine on the other side is slowly connecting. Tightening it like this will cause extra consumption of the clutch. If the throttle is too large, either the clutch will slip or the tires will slip, which is bad for the car. Driving like this for a long time will cause problems. If the gear is high and the speed is low, the resistance torque transmitted from the ground and the gearbox will be particularly large.

4. The higher the gear, the greater the resistance torque. The resistance torque is inversely proportional to the transmission of the gearbox. The higher the gear of the gearbox, the smaller the transmission ratio, the greater the resistance torque. The connection between the engine and gearbox The greater the load the clutch bears, which will accelerate the wear of the clutch plate.
